PAOK BC practices today at the PAOK Sports Arena and all the players are ready for the game against PInar Karsiyaka (day 6, for 2014-2015 Eurocup Regular Season).
PAOK BC head coach Soulis Markopoulos comment: "They are a team with a deep roster, with remarkable players and results that testify to the strength of the team. They have won most of their games and the ones they have lost, they practically lost to a shot or one attack. They move the ball a lot when attacking and their players are very dangerous when in rhythm. It’s a very important game for us, it’s practically our most difficult game in the competition up to now and what’s important is to face it with calm and a clear head. The second leg of the Regular Season is just beginning and we still have a long way to go".
PAOK BC experienced forward Georgios Dedas said: "The way our first games evolved we have made a big step towards qualifying to the next Eurocup round, but nothing is over yet. It’s just now that the second leg is beginning, so we still have a long way to go, it may be enough to win our home games from now on, but this is something we actually need to do, beginning with the game against Karsiyaka. It’s a very important game for us, against a very strong opponent, an excellent team, that has a very particular style of play, with main Dixon as the main axis and Diebler and Palacios holding executing roles. I believe they are going to be extra motivated to win, due to how we beat them in their gym after two overtimes. We always need to enter our gym as the favorites and this is what we need to do tomorrow"
